The YAC 2010 was held on Wednesday 27 October at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. It gave, for over 400 Year 9 & 10 students from government schools across Victoria, the chance to come together and explore the issues that matter to them.

Several students who attended the School for Student Leadership were part of this conference and expressed how valuable it was. It has re-energised them to continue to explore further leadership and community activities.

The following key issues were explored on the day:

• Youth motivation and empowerment
• Discrimination and bullying
• Violence prevention
• Mental Health & Wellbeing Managing stress
